Blogging for Administrators
Dean Shareski has a great podcast about blogging and RSS. It’s a presentation he recorded that he did for administrators. He also has the slides for the presentation on SlideShare. It made me think about the idea of discussions I had yesterday with our technology team about using blogs for teacher portfolios.
- Why not share the hard work being done with others?
- Why not allow conversations to occur around the work that is being done through comments?
The possibilities of administrators to subscribe to their teachers work in order to know how they are doing towards reaching goals is tremendous. Teachers and administrators cannot afford to not learn about blogs and RSS. The possibilities these two technologies hold is amazing.
