Just finishing up a Web2.0 Course
This past week I took a course at USM entitled “The Read/Write Web in the Classroom“. The course was taught by Alice Barr. It was a great experience seeing the teachers that took part in the course get excited about all the tools available to them in the world of Web2.0. The growth that all of the teachers in the class showed over the course of the week was truly amazing. I really enjoyed the time it provided me to work on some projects for the upcoming school year. Collaborating with Stephanie Cheney was a great part of this course as well.
I’m looking to set up a student tech team at HMS this school year. I was able to get a blog set up for the students that they can use to create a podcast as well as a wiki that they’ll use to build a support site for HMS students and teachers. I’m really excited to get started with this group.
